Do you have the mindset of all or nothing? You know, when you fall off the track, you just throw it all out the window. If something doesn't work right, you immediately jump to 'nothing's working right.'
It’s really hard to move forward when you've done that because you feel that one bad day or one skipped post causes a blooming failed business—which isn't true.
If you skip a post, or your month seems a bit chaotic, or it doesn't feel like you're winning, remember: it's not about failure.
We know that FAIL means First Attempt In Learning. It just means you're human. We all make mistakes, we all fall off the wagon, we all trip every now and then.
The 'all or nothing' mindset is a total fib. It keeps us stuck in that mud. But the magic is getting back on it.
Progress is literally about getting back on the horse. It's about regrouping again and again and again. You need to keep going, but do it with a bit of grace and a little bit of fun.
Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater (which is a harsh analogy, but you get the point!). It's about going back to it and reconnecting with it, rather than throwing all your toys out of the pram.
If you've fallen off, if you've gone 'I can't do this,' there is help out there. But your mission today is simple.
Your Mission:
Breathe.
Tell yourself: 'I can do this,' even though sometimes it's really tough.
You deserve to have that dream come true, that business in your life that you want to do. The mission always along the way is: Get up and keep going.
