Hi everyone. Consistency can be a big pain when building our business and our life. Often, we want to achieve big dreams "right now." But what truly makes the biggest difference is tiny, consistent steps.
Think about what you want to achieve in your life or business — more clients, clearer direction, whatever it is. Grab a piece of paper and write it down. Then jot down how you could consistently work towards that goal, whether it's posting, journaling, or taking a vitamin.
Look at your list and decide which one is the smallest thing you can do consistently. A tiny, consistent step is far more effective than one big, loud statement, or pushing too hard.
Once you've identified that tiny step, decide when you're going to do it. Keep it simple — don't pick your busiest time. Look at your calendar for a bit of natural downtime. I find it works best to attach it to something you already do, like taking your vitamins when making your morning tea — a habit you've already got in place. Make it easy for yourself.
So now you've got your goal, your tiny step, and a scheduled time. That's flipping consistency!
And the biggest thing we often forget, especially when we're busy and putting others first, is to smile and praise yourself. Pat yourself on the back for showing up. That's your mini mission within this Friday Fix.
